Classic FM, 'Hall Of Fame'

Phil Disley is celebrating four years illustrating the 'Hall of Fame' column in Classic FM. Phil explains: "Illustrating for Classic FM has been a joy. My illustrations illuminate some of the history, myths and stories behind the great works. The 'Hall of Fame' issue is a highlight in the magazines calendar year and luckily this year I was asked to produce the cover design for the magazine." Phil has also designed two accompanying 'Hall of Fame' top 20 CD covers and an additional seven half page spreads decorating the top 20 count down, as well as his usual column. The Magazine cover depicts the No1 winner Vaughan Williams and his beautiful piece ' The Lark Ascending' Phil is considering an exhibition of these drawings at the Royal Philharmonic at some point, as the Magazine the Philharmonic are affi liated.
