Phil Disley is one of Britain's leading newspaper and magazine Illustrators. His work has been seen in, amongst many other titles, The Times, The Guardian, The Spectator, The Financial Times, The London Evening Standard, Esquire, GQ, Tatler and Marketing Week.
Phil has been freelancing as an artist and illustrator since 1993. As well as working for British publications he has been sought after by numerous American titles including the Wall Street Journal, Men's Health Magazine, LA Times and Us Magazine. He is also a regular contributor to Bond Magazine based in Amsterdam.
In additon to working for editorial publications,some of which are listed below, Phil has illustrated several educational books for Oxford University Press and book covers for Harper Collins.
Recent commissions include an invitation to create preliminary sketches for a sculpture celebrating the life of George Plimpton, founder of The Paris Review, to be housed outside their offices in New York.
Phil's work is as often appreciated by his subjects as it is by editors and the general public. Collectors of his illustrations include Marco Pierre White and David Cameron.
